Panel of Casting Directors
On Wednesday, April 8, 2015, The Network Austin Mixer will present the 1st of 2 panels of Casting Directors! This is “where the rubber meets the road”, so to speak. Our April Panel will feature:

☆ Brad Burton, CSA, & Kimberly Burton, CSA of Burton Casting
Casting Directors are those talented people that producers, studios, ad agencies, and filmmakers hire to find the right actors for the roles in a particular script or project. In other words, if your agent gets you the opportunity to audition for a casting director, then your job is to put your heart, soul, and mind into the part… and get hired! We are grateful to our panels of casting directors for graciously offering their time and insights on April 8th & May 13th! So join us on both dates for the Q&A sessions, network, meet like minds, have a cold margarita, get great food, and update yourselves about the process from the professionals who know.
There’ll be a place set up onstage for dropping off headshots & résumés, so all non-represented talent is invited to bring either or both for each of the 3 casting agencies represented by the speakers on the panel.

We will continue to present insightful and up-to-date guest speakers. We are honored to have been an effective “meeting & networking” opportunity for so many in our community. NOTICE: We all know traffic is horrendous, so… come early and carpool if you can. If Baby Acapulco’s parking is full, you may park at either the Capital Inn (just north of Baby A’s) for $5 or at Super 8 motel (just south of Baby A’s) for $8. Be sure to pay the desk person at either motel when you park there so your vehicle doesn’t get towed away and DO NO PARK IN FRONT OF DUMPSTERS!
Mixing & Networking begins @ 6PM, then the Speakers Panel begins @ 6:45.
