We want to extend our deepest gratitude to actor, author, acting teacher, and musician Marco Perella for speaking as our guest on Wed Oct 9th! Marco has been working steadily in film and television since the mid-1980s, and offered great insights about acting, timing, improvising, and getting callbacks by giving great auditions. Thank you for sharing your time and knowledge with us, Marco!

See photos here, and more mixer photos here.

Come on the 13th and bring a friend to network and enjoy the show. While there enjoy Opal Divine’s Happy Hour which lasts until 7, then $3 “Three for Texas” beers the rest of the evening. 5th Annual Talent Showcase

Call for Submissions

Continuing an annual tradition, our next Talent Showcase is scheduled for this December, so submissions are open now until November 25th for you to submit your act. Take this opportunity to show off your talent!

Just complete the form below.

Central Texas is rich with as-yet-unseen exceptional talent. Here’s your chance to show us all what you’ve got, so don’t hold back. But don’t delay, because only the first 25 completed & confirmed entries will make the show. And the deadline for submissions will be here before you know it: Monday, November 25th.

Anyone age 12 or older is invited to sing, dance, play an instrument, do stand-up, a monologue, or whatever talent you wish to showcase. Just keep in mind that young people will be in the room, so keep it “G-rated”. If your act includes accompanying music, then we’ll need that ahead of time. If you’re using on-screen visuals or any special equipment, then bring it early on the day of performance so it can be set up and ready to roll before the program begins. And be aware that at 3 minutes you’ll get the hook, so keep it short & sweet.

Fill in the form below to submit yourself. Afterward, if you have any change of plans whatsoever, then contact Network Austin Mixer ASAP.
