GUEST SPEAKERS: A panel of Casting Directors!
The question actors often ask is, “Where’s the work?” For actors, the answer is: via Casting Directors. These hard-working folks are the decision makers about who gets invited in to audition for a role. Actors need to know more about what Casting Directors do, how they think, what they look for, what their responsibilities are and what they expect from actors.
The Network Austin Mixer will be offering that information and more at our next two Mixers on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9th and WEDNESDAY, MAY 14th. We will feature a panel of Casting Directors at both Mixers!
On WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9, 2014, our panel of casting Directors will consist of:
Toni Cobb-Brock and Sally Allen ~ Brock/Allen Casting
Brad Burton, CSA, and Kim Burton, CSA ~ Burton Casting
Donise L. Hardy, CSA ~ A Casting Place
We will start the evening with an introduction from each of Casting Director, about 5 minutes each, in which they will tell the audience about themselves, their experience and their companies. We will then open the floor to the audience for a Q&A session which will last approximately half an hour.

PLEASE CARPOOL! These will be very important Mixers, and we suggest folks arrive early to get a table. We expect a huge crowd at both, just as we had on Feb 12, so arrive early!
NOTICE: If Baby Acapulco’s parking is full, you may park at either the Capital Inn (just north of Baby A’s) or at Super 8 motel (just south of Baby A’s) for $5. Please pay either motel when you park there.
