Talent Agent Panel

As promised, we’re starting off 2019 with our 2^nd panel of talent agents on Wednesday, February 13^th @ Opal Divine’s Austin Grill. As an integral element of our success, talent agents represent us, arrange auditions, and strive to secure us good-paying work. Therefore it’s critical to know what the current needs and trends are — which is why we start out each new year with talent agents.

Get the scoop about these agencies’ needs and what you can do to get before casting directors and involved in paying projects by joining us at this month’s #NAMixer. The Network Austin Mixer can be counted on to present programs led by the best of the best with the most knowledge & experience in our business and fields related to our industry. In keeping with that, at this month’s mixer our stage will be graced by at least these 4 of our town’s top talent agents:

☆ Claudia Ramon, Managing Agent, Condra Artista

☆ Jason Wasner, Managing Partner, Acclaim Talent

☆ Romie Szal, Owner, K Hall Agency

☆ Tory Christopher, Owner, Tory Christopher Group

They’ll be introduced onstage at speakers showtime, initially providing a brief overview of their respective agencies and experience, after which the floor will open to Q&A. Non-represented talent are urged to bring headshots & résumés.

Instructions for Headshots & Résumés: Anyone not currently represented is encouraged to bring several sets (1 for each talent agency, plus extras just in case), with the headshot & résumé stapled back-to-back, for placement at a designated table upon arrival, preferably prior to the beginning of the program, so that each agent can have your submission package to review when they leave.

Happy Valentine’s Day

This month’s mixer is your last chance to donate a stuffed lovie to a hospitalized veteran for Valentine’s Day. So bring a teddy bear or two if you can for The Veterans’ Teddy Bear Project!

Last Month:

We enjoyed an exceptionally entertaining #NAMixer on December 12, 2018 when we presented a line-up of 3-minute acts featuring some extraordinary local talent demonstrating their skills as actors, singers, and comedians. More than a few caught the attention of an attendant talent scout or two. We extend our deepest gratitude to all who took part in our 4^th Annual Talent Showcase, as well as those who came for the fun & support.
