Robert “Texas Bob” Hinkle

Robert “Texas Bob” Hinkle is a genuine legend in the entertainment business. Actor, writer, director, dialogue coach are just a few of his titles. From working with famed director George Stevens to appearing with Chuck Norris on “Walker, Texas Ranger,” Bob has seen it all and done it all. His closest friends have included James Dean, Paul Newman, Elizabeth Taylor, Chill Wills, Marty Robbins and many more of the industry’s most talented individuals. Bob worked on “Gunsmoke”, the longest-running series on network TV as well as many of the other popular series of that time. Bob’s insight into the business during the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s is not to be missed.

Visit Texas Bob online to see some of his accomplishments and pick up a copy of his book, “Call Me Lucky, A Texan in Hollywood” for a great reading experience.

Dean Reading

Dean Reading will be interviewing Bob. Dean entered the entertainment business as a child actor, then put that life aside to rodeo in high school, college and the professional ranks before becoming a TV producer/director and renewing a career as an actor. Dean produced and directed the syndicated series, “Dale Berry’s Six Shooter Junction” which counted Ben Johnson, Sam Elliott, Casey Tibbs, and Pat Buttram among the guest stars. Dean went on to produce, direct and host his own syndicated show, “Entertainment Clipboard” for five years. Guests on that show included Linda Blair, Barry Corbin and Bob Hinkle. Dean has also been an extras coordinator, location casting director, location scout and driver on film sets. Dean has taught advanced film acting, television production and film history.
